Z84M: The Best Loadout for Battlefield 6 Multiplayer

The Z84M in Battlefield 6 is among the absolute top-tier weapons in multiplayer, according to Battlefinity: it holds second place in the weapon ranking, is a Tier A weapon, and has a pick rate of 5.7 percent. We'll show you the best curated loadout, variations for other playstyles, and a community-sourced build. All data is current as of October 16, 2026; subsequent balance changes are not included.

How good is the Z84M in multiplayer?

The Z84M became playable in Season 5 "Fate’s Reckoning" and quickly solidified its place in the meta. As of October 16, it ranks second and is considered a Tier-A weapon. Its 5.7 percent pick rate indicates its popularity among players.

The time-to-kill (TTK) is particularly interesting: Battlefinity reports 167 milliseconds at short distances (0 to 10 meters) and 248 milliseconds between 10 and 40 meters. This means the weapon excels in close-quarters combat and doesn't immediately drop off in effectiveness at medium range. The source does not provide further weapon statistics for multiplayer, so we will rely on these numbers and the loadout points.

Which attachments does the Z84M need for short distances?

The close-range loadout has the best rating of all curated builds at 4.75 and scores 100 points. Players operating in tight buildings and on maps like Vegas Strip will find this setup most effective:

  • Muzzle: Long Suppressor
  • Barrel: 605MM BGR
  • Top Accessory: 50 MW Violet
  • Underbarrel: Slim Angled
  • Magazine: 100RND Canvas Pouch
  • Ammunition: VMG

All curated builds utilize the 100-round magazine, significantly reducing the need to reload.

Close range at a glance

This build focuses entirely on close-quarters combat and mobility. If you're playing a map with many interiors, as described in our map guide for Vegas Strip and Area 51, this is your top choice.

Versatile or long distance: Which Z84M loadout suits you?

Versatile (Rating 4.51)

  • Muzzle: Light Suppressor
  • Barrel: 603MM Factory
  • Right Accessory: 50 MW Violet
  • Underbarrel: Slim Angled
  • Magazine: 100RND Canvas Pouch
  • Ammunition: VMG
  • Optic: RO-M 1.75x

This build is the all-rounder for those who don't want to be a pure rusher or a sniper. The low-magnification optic assists at medium distances without sacrificing close-quarters effectiveness.

Long Distance (Rating 3.74)

  • Muzzle: Light Suppressor
  • Barrel: 603MM Factory
  • Underbarrel: Vertical, Classic
  • Magazine: 100RND Canvas Pouch
  • Ammunition: VMG

The long-range build has the lowest rating but also scores 100 points. The source does not provide detailed statistics for this; however, the TTK figures above suggest that the Z84M performs better in close-range engagements.

Community loadout by liontudo

For long distances, there's also a community-sourced variation. Creator liontudo opts for a Hybrid Suppressor and the QD Grip Pod underbarrel attachment:

  • Muzzle: Hybrid Suppressor (L)
  • Barrel: 605MM BGR
  • Underbarrel: QD Grip Pod
  • Magazine: 100RND Canvas Pouch
  • Ammunition: VMG

This loadout currently has no votes on Battlefinity, so it should be considered an experimental option. The barrel is the same as the close-range build; only the muzzle and underbarrel differ.

Is the Z84M worth it, and how does it compare?

Based on Battlefinity's data, the Z84M appears to be more of a close-range weapon than one for long-distance duels. All three curated loadouts use the same 100-round magazine and ammunition. The differences lie in the barrel, muzzle, and accessories, making experimentation straightforward. Players who have previously tried our MK-24 loadout will find a completely different playstyle here.

Important: The data is 23 days old. Balance patches can shift values and rankings, so check in-game to confirm the numbers are still accurate.
