Anyone who had already written off Natus Vincere in this scene was taught a lesson – and then punished mercilessly shortly after. In the VCT 2026 EMEA Stage 2, BBL Esports was already 0-1 down against Natus Vincere (NAVI) after the first map – but then completely turned the series around.
The action began on Haven, where NAVI narrowly edged out a 13-11 victory, seemingly putting them on a good path in the series. But BBL Esports had a swift response: On Ascent, the team secured a 13-9 win, before making a dominant statement on Sunset – finishing with a decisive 13-3 scoreline for BBL. Ultimately, this resulted in a genuine reverse sweep and a 2-1 series win for the Istanbul squad.
For NAVI, this loss is a significant setback in their ongoing playoff aspirations for the EMEA region – especially since they had opened the series so well. BBL Esports, on the other hand, once again demonstrates that the team remains mentally stable even when behind and can turn series around when it matters most.
Concurrently, there was also plenty of action in the Pacific region: Gen.G defeated Rex Regum Qeon 2-1, while Paper Rex left KIWOOM DRX no chance with a dominant 2-0 victory. Thus, VCT 2026 remains fiercely contested across all continents.
