The latest addition: a fuel system that now truly makes cars in Los Santos consume gas, including a stop at the pump.
How Does the Fuel Mod Work in GTA 5?
The mod is based on leaked footage from Grand Theft Auto 6, in which a fuel and horsepower indicator is displayed as soon as you enter a vehicle. The GTA 5 modification replicates exactly that: the fuel tank empties while driving, and if you don't stop at a gas station in time, you'll be stranded. For testing, the editorial team used their already heavily modified GTA 5, where all sorts of chaos and physical peculiarities are already commonplace on the streets of Los Santos – the new fuel system adds another layer of realism on top.
