Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 Brings Verdansk to Battle Royale on November 11

Smartphone Warzone fans have reason to celebrate: Call of Duty: Mobile is bringing the Verdansk map to Battle Royale with Season 10 for its 7th anniversary. According to the official Call of Duty blog, the map features over 15 major Points of Interest and is the centerpiece of the Anniversary update.

When does Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 start?

Season 10 – 7th Anniversary launches on November 11 at 4 PM Pacific Time, according to the blog. This translates to November 12 at 1 AM in Germany. This also explains why some portals list November 12 as the launch date: they are simply converting to different time zones. Players who want to jump in right at launch should plan for a late night or start their download in advance.

The announcement, incidentally, took place on November 4 during a livestream on YouTube and TikTok, which began at 11:30 AM PT.

What Season 10 brings, according to the Call of Duty blog

  • Verdansk in Battle Royale: A large new map with over 15 key Points of Interest.
  • Verdansk in DMZ: Recon: The map also comes to the Extraction mode, including a new boss and a new contract.
  • Signal 50: The new sniper rifle is included in the Battle Pass.
  • Two Mythic Drops: Two Mythic drops await during the Anniversary period.
  • Operation: Verdansk Convergence: This event revolves around a conflict between Makarov, Task Force 141, and the Observers.
  • Teamplay: Downed teammates can now be dragged while being revived.

Reports are also circulating online about revised movement, a Mythic weapon, and changes to the Gulag. We could not verify the exact details in the sources we reviewed, so we will not go into detail here. We will supplement this information as soon as official patch notes are available.

Verdansk on mobile: Why its return is more than nostalgia

For many, Verdansk is the face of Warzone. Its console and PC counterpart is currently receiving new features, such as the new weather system in Warzone. The fact that Activision and TiMi are now offering the same setting on smartphones is a clever move for the anniversary: the map is well-known, anticipation is high, and even players who have never touched Warzone on PC or console will get a recognizable location.

For existing players, this primarily means: expect a lot of activity in the first few days. The map is likely to change the pace in Battle Royale, as with over 15 large locations, there will be significantly more landing zones for squads to contest. This is our assessment; we do not have official figures on player counts or map size. Those who want to stay up-to-date can also find our report on the launch of Season 1 in Modern Warfare 4, which runs parallel to the mobile update.
