The suspense is over: The full lineup for the LAN Finals of BLAST Bounty Season 2 in Malta is now confirmed. The final available spot was, of all teams, secured by Team Spirit – and by the narrowest of margins: The team defeated 100 Thieves 2:1 in the decisive match. While they suffered a clear 4:13 thrashing on Mirage, Spirit turned up the heat afterwards: Anubis went 13:11 to the Russians, and on Dust2, they gave 100 Thieves no chance whatsoever with a dominant 13:0. Star player donk played a significant role, achieving a personal career-best rating of 2.84 on Dust2.
This makes Team Spirit the only remaining top-10 team in the entire field, after heavyweight names like Team Falcons, Team Vitality, and FURIA had already been eliminated in the online stage. Alongside Spirit, The MongolZ (a clear 2:0 against Wildcard) and 3DMAX (2:0 against FUT Esports) also secured their Malta tickets.
