Nintendo is making a new move in Europe: Effective immediately, the Nintendo Switch 2 is also available in a bundle with the full version of Pokémon Pokopia. For those who don't yet own a Switch 2 but are keen on the cozy life-simulation adventure, this package offers both.
The bundle is priced at 429.99 British Pounds or 499.99 Euros. This means you'll pay noticeably less compared to buying the console and game separately, even if Nintendo doesn't specify the exact discount.
Since its launch in March 2026, Pokémon Pokopia has been one of Nintendo's biggest successes: Within just four days, 2.2 million units flew off virtual shelves, and after four weeks, approximately 4 million copies had been sold. The game is thus approaching the sales figures of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, which sold 5.85 million units at the time and is still considered the benchmark for Pokémon spin-offs.
For Nintendo, this bundle is a clever move: The Switch 2 still needs sales boosts, and a popular Pokémon game as a draw has repeatedly proven to be a reliable sales driver in the past. For anyone who was already planning to buy a Switch 2 and is a Pokémon fan, this bundle should be the obvious choice.
Whether and when a similar bundle will follow outside of Europe or with other Pokémon titles has not yet been communicated by Nintendo.
