Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has been globally playable since October 23rd. The shooter launches with a campaign centered around Captain Price and 12 new 6v6 multiplayer maps.
What's Included in Modern Warfare 4's Campaign?
According to Activision, Price is on the run as a conflict erupts on the Korean Peninsula. A catastrophic weapon threatens to fall into the wrong hands. The store page stated that the campaign was available for Early Access (Campaign Early Access) starting October 16th. According to reports on the storyline, players will control, among others, the young South Korean soldier Private Park.
What Multiplayer Content is Available at Launch?
12 new 6v6 maps are available at launch, with additional maps for large-scale battles. Also included is Kill Block, a map that reassembles itself from modular sections after each match. The game is available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC (Steam and Battle.net), and Nintendo Switch 2.
On PC, Activision requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot for online modes. According to reports, players who fail the security check can only play offline content, such as the campaign. Therefore, check if both are active before launching the game for the first time.
How Does the Launch Stack Up?
From our perspective, the signs are good: On Steam, Modern Warfare 4 recently stood at 89 percent. At the same time, the attestation hurdle shows that the anti-cheat protection is locking out some PCs. For DMZ, take a look at our guide on how to start as an Operator in DMZ.
