Rumor: GTA 6's Third Trailer to Drop During Take-Two Earnings Call?

Important Note: This is a rumor or speculation that has NOT yet been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

The GTA 6 community is abuzz once again: The cause is an unusual date on Take-Two Interactive's calendar. The publisher has scheduled its next earnings call for Friday, August 7th – remarkably early in the morning at 8 AM ET, even before the stock market opens. Traditionally, these calls take place on Thursday afternoons after trading hours.

This very scheduling change is enough of a clue for many fans: According to reports, Rockstar is expected to release the third major trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI to coincide with the call, specifically to get investors excited before the conference. However, Rockstar has officially confirmed nothing yet – neither a trailer nor a release date for one.

Additionally, more detailed rumors, which are much vaguer, are circulating online: An anonymous forum post claims that the new trailer will feature a Rolling Stones song ("Heartbreaker") and that Luis Lopez from "The Ballad of Gay Tony" will make an appearance, with a runtime of around two minutes. However, this information comes from a single, unverified source with no proven leaker history – extreme caution is advised here, as it could simply be fabricated.

What remains clear: The earnings call date itself is a fact; the trailer speculation is (currently) not. Should Rockstar indeed deliver around August 7th, it would be the third major trailer in this year's GTA 6 hype – following two previous trailers that have already set viewership records. We will keep you updated as soon as official confirmations emerge.
