Rumor: Battlefield 6 Season 5 to Feature Bombers, Artillery, and Levolution for Significantly More Destruction

Important Note: This is a rumor/leak that has NOT yet been officially confirmed by EA or DICE.

Hardly has Battlefield 6 reached Phase 3 of Season 4, and already a new datamining discovery is creating buzz: According to the insider “temporyal,” considered reliable and drawing their information from Battlefield Labs files, Season 5 is expected to be noticeably more destructive than anything currently in the game. Several independent portals, including GameStar, Battlefield-Inside, and MP1st, are reporting on the same findings independently – an indication that the leak might have some truth to it, even though DICE itself has remained silent so far.

What's New in Season 5, According to the Leak?

According to the files, the following content, among other things, is expected:

• Large-scale Levolution events on all three new Season 5 maps – players should be able to permanently alter the environment through targeted actions during matches
• The strategic bomber B-1B Lancer as a new reinforcement, which is said to be able to carpet-bomb entire front sections with its high range and large payload
• HIMARS artillery as additional heavy equipment for long-range support
• Around 55 new weapon skins, presumably distributed through Season challenges and rewards

Season 5 has not yet been officially announced or even scheduled – these are exclusively findings from unreleased game files, not an EA confirmation.

How Credible is the Source Behind the Leak?

The leaker “temporyal” has already made a name for themselves multiple times within the Battlefield community, including with earlier, later-confirmed findings from Battlefield Labs, DICE's internal testing environment. The fact that several established editorial teams are independently reporting on the same file findings further supports its credibility – however, this is not a guarantee, as content from test files can still change or be completely removed before the actual Season release.

For context: Just about a week ago, we reported on an initial leak regarding the B-1 Lancer and the three new Season 5 maps – the current findings not only confirm this information but also add Levolution and artillery into the mix. Levolution was once a trademark of the series but has only been partially present in Battlefield 6 so far – if the leak proves true, it would be one of the biggest structural innovations since release. However, some time will likely pass until then, as Phase 3 of Season 4, Tidal Strike, is only just beginning.
