EA Sports FC 27 WebApp: Here's the Likely Release Date

Even before EA Sports FC 27 itself hits the stores, many Ultimate Team fans are eager to get started: The WebApp, and later the Companion App, allows players to plan squads, trade cards, and collect rewards without even turning on their console. Based on previous EA titles, GamePro has published an initial schedule prediction.

When is the EA Sports FC 27 WebApp Expected to Launch?

According to current projections, which are based on release patterns from previous years, the WebApp is expected to go live on September 16, 2026 around 8 PM German time. The Companion App for smartphones and tablets would then traditionally follow a day later, on September 17th, also around 8 PM. EA has not officially confirmed these dates yet – the publisher usually communicates the exact time only a few days before launch, often as part of the first gameplay deep dive.

What Do You Need for Early Access?

For all who want to jump in from day one, it's important to note: In previous years, early access to the WebApp was tied to certain conditions, such as an already existing Ultimate Team club from the previous title and an EA account without bans or a negative history. It's safe to assume EA will implement similar requirements for FC 27, but official details are still pending.

From our perspective, the WebApp is particularly beneficial for savvy players: Those who build up their Ultimate Team starting capital by trading on the transfer market before the game's official release usually have a noticeable advantage over players who only jump in with the console version. Recent years have shown that the actual dates rarely deviate significantly from these preliminary predictions, though minor shifts of a day or two are always possible.
