Don't Starve Together: The Co-op Survival Hit is Officially Available on Mobile

Big news for all survival fans with a phone in their pocket: Don’t Starve Together from Klei Entertainment is officially available for iOS and Android starting today. The mobile port was handled by Playdigious, who have already proven their ability to successfully bring complex PC games to mobile with titles like Dead Cells and Cult of the Lamb.

For anyone unfamiliar with the co-op survival classic: In Don’t Starve Together, you and up to five other players must brave a grim, procedurally generated wilderness. Gather food, keep campfires burning, survive monsters – all within the distinctive, comic-book art style that has defined the series for years.

According to Playdigious, the mobile version brings the complete feature set of the PC edition, including all DLC content and regular updates. Pre-orderers already had the opportunity to secure the title early via the App Store or Google Play pre-registration.

So, those who have only played on the couch with a controller or on PC can now continue their fight for survival on the go. Whether and how cross-save functions between platforms has not yet been definitively confirmed – it's worth keeping an eye on the patch notes in the coming days for updates.
