A limited-time event centered around the shy fish Pokémon Feebas is currently live in Pokémon Pokopia – and if you collect cleverly, you can look forward to the rarely beautiful evolution Milotic. We'll show you, step by step, how to get the necessary Prism Scales and what you need to build for it.

How to Get Prism Scales in Pokémon Pokopia?

Before anything else can happen, you need at least one rebuilt Pokémon Center in your town. Only then will Feebas appear in front of the building and give you the task of collecting Prism Scales. However, you won't find these scales just anywhere in your own town, but on the so-called Dream Islands:

• Summon Drifloon and interact with the corresponding doll to travel to a Dream Island.
• Prism Scales are exclusively found on beach sections and underwater on these islands – you won't find any in other areas.
• The Basin Dream Island, which you reach via the Starmie doll, is particularly productive. Those who search it thoroughly can collect over a hundred scales there.
• In total, you need 50 Prism Scales to unlock both event-exclusive facilities.
• Bring the collected scales to the counter in the Pokémon Center and exchange them there for maritime decorative furniture.

How Do I Evolve Feebas into Milotic in Pokopia?

Instead of a classic Beauty stat or trade trick, in Pokopia, it's done by building suitable habitats. For 20 Prism Scales, you get the materials for the “Exciting Beach” facility: Place a sand bed next to a large swim ring, and Feebas will move in. For the “Marine Leisure Activities” facility, you need 30 Prism Scales and combine a swim ring, cooler, and volleyball set – only then can you invite Milotic, Feebas's evolution, to your town. Important: Both Pokémon will permanently stay with you even after the event ends, provided you complete the habitats in time.

Implications for Players: The appeal here clearly lies in the time pressure. The Marine Leisure furniture needed for Milotic can only be obtained during the current event – if you miss the deadline, you can theoretically still build the habitat later, but without the event items, you won't be able to get the necessary materials. Milotic is considered one of the most visually stunning Water-type Pokémon of all, and a permanent town resident is ultimately worth more than a brief appearance. Those who are already expanding their Pokopia village should therefore quickly gather the scales now, instead of leaving it until the last day.
