It’s official: Riot Games has released the full schedule for the League of Legends World Championship 2026. From October 15 to November 14, 2026, the world’s best LoL teams will compete for the Summoner’s Cup in the USA, with the tournament stopping in Los Angeles, Allen (Texas), and Brooklyn (New York). When Exactly Do the Play-In, Swiss Stage, and Grand Final for LoL Worlds 2026 Take Place?
The schedule is divided into three clearly distinct phases before the grand showdown at the end:
- Play-In Stage: October 15 to 18, 2026 – here, regions considered weaker will fight for the last tickets to the next round.
- Swiss Stage: October 23 to 31, 2026 – the proven Swiss System will determine which teams advance to the playoff bracket.
- Grand Final: November 14, 2026, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York – where the new World Champion will be crowned.
In between is the knockout phase, which narrows the field down to the participants of the Grand Final. Matches will be held in venues including the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles and the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, before the journey leads to Brooklyn for the Grand Final. Defending champions T1 will also be participating.
