Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 „Terminated“ Has Launched: Terminator 2 Joins the Fight

Skynet lives – at least on your mobile screen. Activision has officially launched Season 7 of Call of Duty: Mobile, and true to its name, „Terminated“ revamps the Battle Royale and Multiplayer playlists with a genuine Terminator 2 crossover. The launch was confirmed via the official Call of Duty: Mobile Blog, which set the season for August 5th, 5 PM PT – translating to the early morning hours of August 6th in Germany.

Instead of new Operators from the in-house CoD universe, players are getting cinematic legends this time around: Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 and the shapeshifting T-1000 are now available as Operator skins on the battlefield, complete with the iconic sci-fi look from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

What's in Season 7

What Free-to-Play and Battle Pass Players Should Know Now

Movie crossovers are certainly no novelty for Call of Duty: Mobile – in previous seasons, Activision has repeatedly brought major pop culture brands into the game, usually packaged as limited-time event chains and store bundles. This pattern repeats with „Terminated“: those who don't pay will still get usable content. The new Cronen Squall assault rifle is available on the free Battle Pass track, and additional rewards from the Skynet Protocol event can be unlocked via event challenges without spending a dime.

Players who want to dive deeper will find it hard to skip the Battle Pass or the „It Goes Two“ Bundle. Only those who own both Terminator Operator skins unlock the Legendary upgrade including the in-match form-switching – a clear purchase incentive for collectors.
