Is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey worth it at this price?

Instead of €59.99, you currently pay only €11.99 – a saving of €48.00, or 80 percent off the normal price. This means you get one of the most expansive open-world adventures of recent years for less than a quarter of its original cost. With typical playtime of 50 hours or more, this represents excellent value per hour of gameplay.

Who is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for?

With a Metacritic score of 86, Odyssey is one of the highest-rated entries in the entire series. The game transports the series to 431 BC, amidst the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta, and leans even more heavily into action RPG elements than its predecessors: skill trees, impactful dialogue choices, and naval battles between the Greek islands are core to the game. Those who love huge, densely packed open worlds and can't get enough of long playtimes will find this to be one of the most extensive Assassin’s Creed titles ever. Additionally, it features its own dialogue system with multiple endings, giving Kassandra or Alexios' adventure an unusually personal touch for the series – including relationships with key figures from Greek mythology. Numerous expansions and a dedicated story mode, equivalent to a full DLC, further expand the already massive scope of the main game.
