The Battlefield team wants to know what you think of the current season: The studio has launched a new community survey for 'Siege of Vegas' on Steam. According to the announcement, filling it out takes about five minutes, and spots are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. So, if you want to participate, don't wait too long.
What is the 'Siege of Vegas' Survey About?
The survey is aimed at everyone currently playing Battlefield 6 and wishing to provide feedback on Season 5. The team emphasizes that your feedback helps to further develop Battlefield. Additionally, they state there are “plenty of other routes” through which the studio directly collects comments, rather than just asking specific questions. So, the survey is just one channel among several.
Season 5 went live on October 13th. According to reports from MP1st and other portals, it introduces the maps Vegas Strip and Area 51, a third unrevealed map, and reworks of two existing maps over the course of the season. Additionally, there are four new weapons (Mk 24, RSPR, Z84M, and ELR-40), a new Battle Pass, ranked modes in multiplayer and in the REDSEC battle royale mode, including the 'Rapid Royale' mode and the official launch of Ranked Battle Royale.
What Does Your Player Feedback Achieve?
The team makes no concrete promises, and that's important context: a survey is not a guarantee of specific changes. However, it does indicate where the studio currently believes action is needed. Especially for a season with so many new elements, from maps to weapons and the Battle Pass, it makes sense to gather player opinions. Apropos, we recently reported on the Dead Space event 'Convergence' in Halloween mode, which is also part of the current season's content.
From our perspective, such a survey is particularly valuable when as many different player types as possible participate: someone who only plays Conquest will have different desires than someone who prefers REDSEC or Portal. So, take those five minutes while spots are still available.
