Sega is making a big splash at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne: At the event, which runs until August 30th, the publisher is showcasing six playable titles at its booth in Hall 7 – from the long-awaited horror sequel Alien: Isolation 2 to the JRPG comeback Persona 4 Revival, a remake of the PS2 classic originally released in 2008.
What Games Can You Play at the Sega Booth at Gamescom 2026?
In addition to Alien: Isolation 2 and Persona 4 Revival, the playable lineup also includes Crazy Taxi: World Tour, Total War: Warhammer 40,000, and Stranger Than Heaven. In Crazy Taxi: World Tour, visitors can try out a brand-new map, one of five cities expected to be included in the final game. Total War: Warhammer 40,000 can be played in three different Space Marine scenarios. For Stranger Than Heaven, the new project from RGG Studio veterans Hiroyuki Sakamoto and Mikinobu Abe, there will also be signing sessions with the creators themselves.
Why is Alien: Isolation 2 the Biggest Draw at the Booth?
Alien: Isolation 2 is celebrating its public European debut at Gamescom and allows visitors to play the game's prologue – within a booth specifically designed to evoke a claustrophobic, gritty sci-fi atmosphere. This is a special event because the first installment from 2014 is still considered one of the best horror games ever, and fans have been waiting for a true sequel ever since. From our perspective, this approach of not simply showing the game on a screen but within a specially designed environment is a smart move to keep expectations high for the sequel and offer the community at the fair a genuine experience instead of just another demo station.
