It's the second week, and the picture remains unchanged: Star Fox holds onto the #1 spot in the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop charts. The remake of the N64 classic has clearly found its way into the hearts (and wishlists) of the community, leaving the competition in its dust.
But Star Fox isn't entirely alone at the summit – closely trailing are Cyberpunk 2077 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, both in their Switch 2 editions. It's no surprise, as both games are currently benefiting from ongoing eShop discounts. These attractive prices are clearly enticing many players to pick them up again, even if they already own the titles from the original Switch.
Further down the charts, things are also getting interesting: newcomer Moonlight Peaks jumped straight to #6 thanks to strong pre-order figures – a remarkable achievement for a relatively unknown game. It just goes to show that hype can build even without a massive marketing budget, as long as the concept is solid.
For Nintendo, the situation remains comfortable: a first-party flagship leading the pack, two perennial favorites boosted by discounts, and a fresh indie darling on the rise. For anyone still pondering what Switch 2 game to play next, the current charts certainly offer some compelling suggestions.
